Josh Tye is an Offie nominated Actor/Musician from South Yorkshire. From a very young age, Josh has shown a huge interest in performance including drama, music and dance and is known as a strong "triple treat." He has worked consistently in theatre on a variety of exciting projects. He originally trained at the prestigious Urdang Academy in London Islington. Graduating in 2012 with a 1st class BA Hons in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre, Josh went on to be a part of numerous UK/International residential and touring theatre shows as an actor, singer, dancer and also performed as an actor musician. It is safe to say that Josh is a very experienced performer and entertainer and is no stranger to the entertainment industry.
Music and Bands
"It's all about timing"
Josh has appeared in many bands, singing and playing for events across the whole of the UK. Whilst building an impressive career in theatre, he has also succeeded sessioning as a musician in numerous bands including a very established 80's corporate band, pit bands in the London's West End and as a solo artist.

Josh has also recently become part of the duo "Everly Beyond," a tribute to the Everly Brother's and artists alike that were influenced by them.
Teaching
"Giving something back..."
Josh is also a very accomplished musical theatre and music teacher. His classes are mainly held in the Staffordshire and Cheshire areas but he also teaches across the whole of the UK including some establishments in London. Josh mainly teaches syllabus dance classes specialising in jazz, tap and acro for dancers. He has held many specialised musical theatre workshops for all ages and abilities giving students a taste of the professional theatre industry. Josh also has students who take private tuition in both singing and guitar, and has also started taking online classes for those who are unable visit him at his studio. Establishments Josh regualrly works for include Aspire Dance and Theatre Academy, The Sophie Dee School of Dance, Heathfield Youth Drama and Goldsmiths Dance Academy.
